Virgin Radio UK launches new series of Virgin Pridecast

The new series of the Virgin Radio Pridecast goes live at 5pm this afternoon, with a podcast episode released every week until the return of the Virgin Radio Pride UK station next summer. Each week, presenters Alex Milsom and Shivani Dave will look back through the Virgin Radio Pride UK archives, with the help of leading guests, jaw-dropping stories, and laugh out loud moments as the network continues to broadcast important conversations around LGBTQ+ culture.

Emma Goswell also tells us all about her book ‘Coming Out Stories’ and discusses how we can make the coming out process easier for others. Virgin Radio Pride UK aired throught the summer months covering a range of important topics through its programming, promoting discussions on queer culture, LGBTQ+ representation in rock music, a programme on the Pulse nightclub shooting in Florida and a special with Skin from Skunk Anansie, chatting about growing up black and gay in the white male dominated world of rock.

The station also brought to life Pride festivals around the UK, partnering with local Pride celebrations from various places including Blackpool, Oxford, Grampian, Liverpool, Norwich, the Isle of Wight and many more.
