The Times duo Matthew Parris and Oliver Moody have both received a double nomination in the annual Comment Awards from Editorial Intelligence.

In this afternoon’s (Wednesday) shortlists announcement, The Times has eight nominations and sister title The Sunday Times two.

Parris features in the nominations for the Commentariat of the Year and political commentator categories.

Moody is shortlisted in the science commentator and young commentariat sections.
