Our Content Operations team has achieved a quality management accolade.
Content Operations, part of the Operations Services department, gained ISO 9001 accreditation for the first time.
ISO 9001 is a quality management standard helping organisations demonstrate they deliver a consistent high level of service.
Content Operations provide information and picture services, plus manage our extensive archive.
Also, both the Production Planning and International Operations teams have passed an annual audit to maintain their accreditation.
Operations Services director Alan McCann said:
My thanks go to the team, and in particular to Lee Chilvers for his contribution towards attaining this industry-recognised quality standard for Content Operations. These achievements demonstrate our department’s commitment to best practice policies and procedures, continuous improvement and delivering great service to our customers. We are also working towards ISO 9001 accreditation in Publishing Services later this year.”
