The Sun, Times and Sunday Times to show clips of top UK and European football action across all digital platforms.
In a three-year deal starting from the 2015/16 season, readers of The Sun, Times and Sunday
Times will be able to watch clips of highlights from all 146 UEFA Champions League and all 205 UEFA Europa League competition matches. These rights include the cup finals and the UEFA Super Cup played between the respective winners of each competition and cover both the UK and Ireland.
Readers who subscribe to selected digital packages of our titles are already enjoying clips from this season’s 380 Barclays Premier League matches on their smart phones, tablets and PCs. And from 27 November they will also be able to view goals and other key moments from the Scottish Premiership as well as some Glasgow Rangers matches Then, starting in 2014, in a four-year deal with the Football Association, all the best action from FA Cup matches and England friendlies will be available on their digital devices.
The latest addition to News UK’s football offering means that subscribers will enjoy the best top flight action at home, work or on the move. It follows a groundbreaking deal with UEFA and reinforces our technological edge and firm commitment to delivering unbeatable digital content to our customers.

- In January, News UK announced it had secured rights to show Barclays Premier League clips as part of a three-year deal starting on 17 August 2013.
In July, News UK secured the rights to show near-live clips of FA Cup matches, FA Community Shield matches, 14 England Senior Friendly matches, all England U21 matches (subject to them being broadcast live) and England Development Team matches from 2014 until autumn 2018.
In September, News UK secured the rights to show clips of goals and other key moments from Scottish Premiership matches and some Glasgow Rangers matches which come to the smart phone and tablet from 27 November.
