Laura Atkinson appointed as The Sunday Times Style Editor

 

The Sunday Times today announces the appointment of Laura Atkinson as editor of Style.

Laura joined The Sunday Times Style as features editor from Grazia in 2012, and was promoted to deputy editor in 2016. 

Announcing her appointment, The Sunday Times editor Emma Tucker said: “I’m pleased to announce that Laura Atkinson has been appointed the editor of The Sunday Times Style Magazine. In Laura's expert hands Style will set the agenda for the most important global stories in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and trends bringing the best in class to our readers. 

“Style has always been fun, quirky and irreverent with a distinctive Sunday Times tone of voice and I look forward to Laura developing this aspect of the magazine. Laura will work closely with our fashion director Jane McFarland and the excellent team at Style to keep producing the newspaper's weekly guide to all things fashionable and stylish."

Style reaches approximately 1.2 million high-value readers weekly (with a larger female AB readership than Vogue, Harpers and Elle combined), who collectively spend £73m on beauty and grooming products annually, and is one of the most important and influential sources of reference for the fashionable and stylish.
