News UK’s Commercial Insight team scooped the Research and Data Innovation prize for Project Footprint, at the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) Europe’s Research Awards in Lisbon last night.

Beating off competition from Facebook, IAB UK and MGOMD, the award cements our reputation for thought leadership research projects on the international stage.

Project Footprint, a world first partnership between News UK, Comscore and Keller Fay, has been our most ambitious research project to date. Incorporating world-first methodology, it explored the pattern between what you read, and how it influences your online and offline actions.

It’s not only the IAB who class Project Footprint as a winner, it has also recently won Best Custom Research Project and the prestigious Grand Prix at the 2016 Mediatel Media Research Awards. Sean Adams, Head of Insight (Commercial) said,

To have our work recognised at multiple awards events, both locally and internationally, is a massive boost to our team and underlines the importance of us continuing to invest time and money in thought leadership research projects. This recognition ensures that News UK continues to strengthen its reputation for innovative thinking amongst our clients and agencies in what is a highly competitive media marketplace.”
