Dream Team has reached one billion video views on Facebook. They surpassed the milestone with a video from their new Grassroots Football content strand, in which they attempted to re-create a famous Chelsea goal, watch here.
The news comes as Dream Team closes in on two million likes on their Facebook Page, currently hitting between 40 and 50 million weekly reach on Facebook – all largely driven by video content.
Dream Team Editor Harry Haydon said “It’s nice to hit the one billion mark – especially as we’ve recently made a big push into that space – but this is just the beginning. The second billion will come around a lot quicker!”
DT Head of Video Mark Hudson said “We’re constantly looking to innovate on Dream Team, we’ve used Facebook Live to create agenda-setting exclusives right from the heart of the action. From the recent David Luiz transfer deadline day story to the West Ham riots, Euro 2016 hooliganism and Leicester’s title victory celebrations.”
Often in the top three for video content, Dream Team is battling it out for a spot among top Facebook UK sports brands including Sport Bible, Joe and Goal.com.
Dream Team remains the number one commercial fantasy football game in the UK, with over a million signups to this year’s game.
