The Irish Sun Creative Content department is celebrating major successes after a productive 18 months in business.

Over the last year and a half, the team has created bespoke supplements for a number of commercial clients, written and designed Irish Sun worthy in-paper paid-for content and produced original and engaging articles for The Irish Sun and The Irish Sun on Sunday.

The glossy 52-page magazine Icon was also released to market – an exciting new venture for The Irish Sun.

To date, it has attracted 22 new advertising clients who now have a quality environment to advertise in as well as boosting circulation by providing fantastic female-friendly content for The Irish Sun and thesun.ie

The Creative Content department also produced a standalone glossy mag for children, The Story of 1916, which resulted in a massive sales boost of more than 10,000 copies.

With further magazines and paid-for content to come, as well as plans to take Icon to the next level by creating a unique custom published magazine for large commercial clients, the Creative Content studio is going from strength to strength.

Combined with The Irish Sun and The Irish Sun on Sunday’s fantastic circulation figures (latest ABC figures show a three per cent sales increase year-on-year for The Irish Sun and an impressive 7.1 per cent jump for The Irish Sun on Sunday), the team in Dublin are extremely proud of what has been achieved and excited about what is yet to come.
