Arnie: 'I'll be at The Sun'

Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger was at News International's HQ on Tuesday January 22 to officially open The Sun’s new TV studios.

The Terminator star opened the studios at 3TMS level 8 by unveiling a special plaque before cutting the ribbon.

Former California governor Schwarzenegger, 65, was promoting his latest film The Last Stand, his first movie in 10 years as a leading man which opens on Thursday January 24. Arnold was due to appear for a live webchat answering questions from Sun readers, and found himself cutting the red ribbon and unveiling an opening plaque for the studios alongside The Sun editor Dominic Mohan.

Bizarre Editor, Gordon Smart, presented the webchat and quizzed the former governor on his amazing career and return to acting. During his webchat, Schwarznegger talked frankly about his career, possible future features and also addressed the growing gun control problems of America and climate control.

Schwarzenegger, who still works out every day, said: "I love coming back to London."

Smart said about the new studios: "It’s a big step into the future. It’s a great way to interact with people and it goes beyond these shores as the questions for Arnie proved.

"The studios are ideal for big-name musicians, bands, actors and beyond."
