Angus McBride was appointed News UK’s General Counsel in April 2016. Working across all titles and radio, he is responsible for overseeing the legal and compliance teams and their work for the business.Angus began his thirty year legal career in legal aid practice before becoming a Partner at leading international law firm Kingsley Napley.In 2020 the Legal 500 Awards named him “in house individual of the year” in the media sector.
