Sun Bets are delighted to announce that they will be going Non Runner No Bet for all races at the 2017 Cheltenham Festival from 6am Saturday 4th March.
With the Festival just around the corner, punters will be able to bet with Sun Bets in the safe knowledge that if their ante-post selection doesn't run, or ends up contesting a different race, stakes will be returned in full.
Sun Bets Head of PR Tim Reynolds said: "With question marks still surrounding what races a number of the high-profile horses will be running in, the concession gives punters a safety net by removing any concerns around backing a horse in the wrong race."
Sun Bets NR/NB offer is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the great promotions that the bookmaker will be offering throughout the Festival and to support their sponsorship of the Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle, which takes place on the Thursday.
Sun Bets sponsorship of the season’s top long-distance hurdle sees the race name revert back to its traditional title - the Stayers' Hurdle. The Grade 1 contest became the World Hurdle back in 2005 when Ladbrokes took over the sponsorship, but the bookmaker were forced to end their association with the race when they decided not to sign up to racing’s Authorised Betting Partners policy.
Sun Bets’ Tim Reynolds said: “As an Authorised Betting Partner we’re delighted to be given the opportunity to sponsor a race as prestigious as the Stayers’ Hurdle. It was run as the Stayers’ Hurdle for more than 30 years and we felt it was only right for the race to revert back to its proper title.”
