16 nominations for News UK titles

News UK titles attracted a bumper 16 nominations for the British Journalism Awards early next month.

The Sunday Times leads the way for us with nine shortlisted entries as the finalists were revealed yesterday (Monday) for the Press Gazette-organised awards being held at the Stationers’ Hall in London on December 6.

The awards featured entries from every major newspaper publisher, broadcaster and online news publisher in the UK.

There are triple nominations for The Sun consumer editor Dan Jones and The Sunday Times business reporter Oliver Shah, while The Times investigations reporter Billy Kenber gets a double nod.

Business, finance and economics journalism
