The Sunday Times Scotland has struck a deal to be media partner for the prestigious Scottish Business Awards, which celebrate excellence in Scotland’s business community.

More than 100 companies, from multinationals to SMEs and start-ups, are in the competition. Following last year’s star turn by George Clooney, Oscar-winning actor and environmental activist Leonardo DiCaprio (pictured) will address a crowd of 2,000 people on November 17.

Awards chairman Sir Tom Hunter said: “That the Scottish Business Awards is the largest awards dinner of its kind in the whole of the UK says a lot about the strength and ambition of Scotland’s entrepreneurial community. November 17 is set to be another very special night.”

The Sunday Times Scotland editor Jason Allardyce said: “We are delighted to be associated once again with such a successful event that celebrates Scotland’s business excellence and entrepreneurial spirit.”
