The News Academy’s 2016 summer school is now in full flow in The News Building.
This morning students were given an introduction to the editorial system by The Sun’s Dan Davies, as they plan stories for their own newspaper 'Point'.
Meanwhile two lucky students have interviewed footballing legend Ian Wright, at his latest football podcast for The Sun.
Over the course of the week, students will get the opportunity to learn the tricks of the trade from the very best in the business – from hunting out stories and writing them, to editing and publishing their own newspaper.
Guest speakers include The Sun's editor Tony Gallagher, The Times chief football correspondent Henry Winter and columnist and broadcaster David Aaronovitch.
Just 20 talented students get the opportunity to attend this week-long residential, selected from hundreds of applicants.
On Friday, they will see their newspaper roll off the presses at Broxbourne, the biggest print site in the world.
