This week News UK have had a strong presence at the Conservative party conference in Manchester.

The Sun and The Times & Sunday Times have both hosted drinks receptions in our sponsored London Lounge venue, following on from their receptions at the Labour conference last week.

Yesterday (Tuesday) The Times & Sunday Times hosted their party, with Cabinet Ministers including Chancellor George Osborne, Home Secretary Theresa May, Culture Secretary John Whittingdale, Business Secretary Sajid Javid and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Ian Duncan Smith in attendance.

Times editor John Witherow and Sunday Times editor Martin Ivens addressed the 120-strong gathering before mingling with the guests.

News UK comms director Guto Harri was also there along with a list of Times and Sunday Times contributors including Matthew Paris, Hugo Rifkind, Philip Websiter and Philip Collins.
