With an impressive five editions of The Sun and five editions of The Times put out last night, News UK had a very busy 2015 General Election night.

While journalists across the titles covered the action, hundreds of guests gathered on level 17 of our News Building HQ in London Bridge to watch the results pour in.

In a special panel debate, chaired by News UK comms director Guto Harri, The Sun's political editor Tom Newton Dunn, his Sunday Times counterpart Tim Shipman, Times columnist Hugo Rifkind and event sponsors Edelman’s UK & Ireland CEO Ed Williams discussed ‘What kind of campaign has it been?’

Newton Dunn told the audience: “As a journalist, I couldn’t be more excited. The race is so tight. It looks as if it will come right down to the wire, possibly down to the last three or four results. The campaign has been turned outside down by Scotland.”

Guests included corporate partners, advertisers, senior staff and 50 Times+ members.

As well as multiple print editions, The Sun updated its iPad throughout Election night and this morning, while The Times is publishing a new top-up edition on iPad at midday today.
