The Sunday Times reveals four-part Ultimate Cookbook

This weekend (Sunday November 17) The Sunday Times launches its Ultimate Cookbook – a pull-out-and-keep, four-part guide to the finest recipes of the celebrity chef era. Part of The Incredible Edibles Food Series dedicated to food and dining, the guide begins this weekend with Sunday Lunch, featuring recipes from chefs including Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal, Raymond Blanc, Gordon Ramsay and Gizzi Erskine. It is followed on Sunday November 24 by Quick Eats, with contributions from culinary stars such as Nigella Lawson, Yotam Ottolenghi, Ken Hom, James Martin and The Ivy.

On Sunday December 1, the third part of the Ultimate Cookbook focuses on Brunch and Baking, with recipes from Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood, The Wolseley and Richard Corrigan. The final part is published with The Sunday Times on December 8, bringing readers the best Dinner Party recipes from the likes of Angela Hartnett, Michael Caines and Giorgio Locatelli, as well as recipes from Nobu and the River Café.

Gizzi Erskine, The Sunday Times Cook, said: “We all have stacks of cookbooks on our shelves, but we tend to only use a few favourite recipes from each. The Ultimate Cookbook combines the best dishes from the biggest celebrity chefs to give readers a great set of recipes for every occasion, whether it’s for a brunch with friends, a quick evening meal, or a special dinner party.”

The Ultimate Cookbook follows the release of The Sunday Times Food List, which revealed Britain’s top 100 restaurants, based on 80,000 reviews from 9,000 consumers, and topped by Michael Caines’ Gidleigh Park in Devon. It was accompanied the following weekend by the Cheap Eats guide, featuring 130 eateries across the country where people can enjoy great food for less than £50 per head.
